The CBC continues to operate in a wasteful, bias manner serving the socialist left wing mandate only while continuing to lose viewers and advertising revenues. Scandals continue. An unsettling, ugly anti Semitic movement has grown in the CBC News operation, history experts will know that this troubling bias can have devastating results for our country. Act now- contact your MP, the PMO and the CBC to stop this frightening socialist anti Semitic driven bias now.

Disgruntled CBC workers continue to confidentially share their stories with us, reports of management snooping, waste, huge salaries for select senior management, content bias, low employee morale continue in 2021 and we will expose these activities in our blog while protecting our whistleblower contacts. We take joy in knowing that the CBC-HQ visits us daily to spy on us, read our stories and to find out who owns our for the Canadian people blog.

One of our most popular posts continues to be the epic Dr. Leenen case against the Fifth Estate (the largest libel legal case ever awarded against the media in Canadian history) yet where no one at CBC was fired and taxpayers paid the huge award and legal costs for this blatant CBC Libel action. Writers and filmmakers -this is a Perfect story for an award winning Documentary -ok - who would fund it and where would it air since the CBC owns the Documentary channel! Can you help? Please contact us.

cbcExposed continues to enjoy substantial visitors coming from Universities and Colleges across Canada who use us for research in debates, exams, etc.

We ask students to please join with us in this mission; you have the power to make a difference! And so can private broadcasters who we know are hurting from the dwindling Advertising revenue pool and the CBC taking money from that pool while also unfairly getting massive Tax subsidies money. It's time to stop being silent and start speaking up Bell-CTV, Shaw-Global, Rogers, etc.

Our cbcExposed Twitter followers and visitors to cbcExposed continue to motivate us to expose CBC’s abuse and waste of tax money as well as exposing their ongoing left wing bully-like anti-sematic news bias. Polls meanwhile show that Canadians favour selling the wasteful government owned media giant and to put our tax money to better use for all Canadians. The Liberals privatized Petro Canada and Air Canada; it’s time for the Trudeau Liberals to privatize the CBC- certainly not give them more of our tax money-enough is enough!

The CBC network’s ratings continue to plummet while their costs and our taxpayer bailout subsidies continue to go up! In 2021 what case can be made for the Government to be in the broadcasting business, competing unfairly with the private sector? The CBC receives advertising and cable/satellite fees-fees greater than CTV and Global but this is not enough for the greedy CBC who also receive more than a billion dollars of your tax money every year. That’s about $100,000,000 (yes, $100 MILLION) of our taxes taken from your pay cheques every 30 days and with no CBC accountability to taxpayers.

Wake up! What does it take for real change at the CBC? YOU! Our blog contains a link to the Politicians contact info for you to make your voice heard. Act now and contact your MP, the Cabinet and Prime Minister ... tell them to stop wasting your money on a biased, failing media service, and ... sell the CBC.

CBC sued for using YouTube video without permission

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is facing a lawsuit in the United States over the alleged use of a YouTube video without the owner’s permission.

In the suit filed Aug. 11 to the Western District court of New York state, Alfonzo Cutaia of Buffalo, N.Y., alleges that the CBC violated U.S. copyright law by using a video of a winter storm he filmed and uploaded to YouTube last year without his permission.

CNN is also named in the suit which claims CBC obtained the video — called Buffalo Lake Effect — from that organization.

The statement of claim, obtained by The Canadian Press, alleges CBC posted the video on the broadcaster’s website — cbc.ca — with the CBC logo as an overlay, and uploaded the video to Yahoo Screens’ website.

CBC sued for wrongful dismissal

When the CBC was sued by a former employee for wrongful dismissal last year, the public broadcaster filed a statement in response that included a laundry list of alleged bad behaviour that would get almost anyone fired from their job.

Audrey James, CBC Television’s former senior director of scheduling, was terminated for just cause on March 2, 2018, ending a 29-year career at the broadcaster.

According to the CBC’s statement of defence in her subsequent suit, James was found to have violated the CBC’s code of conduct and policies on harassment and ethics, after a series of complaints made around the spring of 2017. Among other things, they allege James “made scheduling decisions…based on the negative relationships James had with her colleagues.”

James’s lawyer tells CANADALAND that his client denies the allegations.

CBC sued for $6 million in damages

Pure North S’Energy Foundation is seeking $6 million in damages from the national broadcaster and two of its reporters, Charles Rusnell and Jennie Russell.

In its statement of claim, filed in Calgary Court of Queen’s Bench, True North says it has repeatedly asked the CBC to remove from the Internet what it says are inaccurate articles.

“Pure North’s reputation and work has been severely damaged as the result of an unrelenting broadcast campaign by the CBC and the reporters through various media which has had the result of damage to Pure North by spreading disinformation and mistruths about Pure North’s operation and practices,” it states

“Pure North has repeatedly requested that the CBC change its reporting to publicize accurate facts, and Pure North has supported its request with multiple pieces of scientific research and practice guidelines for medical practitioners which supports Pure North’s practices and operations.

“But CBC has refused to retract, correct, or apologize for its inaccurate reporting which it continues to publish on the Internet.”

The lawsuit details 28 separate paragraphs it says point to defamatory content published by the broadcaster.

CBC denies acting recklessly and maliciously

The CBC has filed a motion asking an Ontario court to toss out a $210-million lawsuit launched by Subway against the news network, which reported that the sandwich chain may have been selling some chicken products that were only about 50 per cent chicken DNA.

Subway launched the defamation lawsuit in April 2017, claiming a story by CBC's Marketplace caused it to suffer significant sales losses.

As part of its investigation, Marketplace had sent samples of chicken from five major fast-food restaurants to a lab for DNA analysis. The results suggested that some of Subway's chicken products may have comprised slightly more or slightly less than half chicken.

Subway disputed Marketplace's findings publicly after the story aired on television and radio Feb. 24, 2017, and was posted online.

It later filed a defamation lawsuit — which also named as defendants the reporter and two producers who worked on the program — claiming that CBC acted "recklessly and maliciously" in airing the Marketplace report and that the tests conducted on the chicken "lacked scientific rigour."

CBC sued over offshore taxes story

A statement of claim filed in Saskatoon Court of Queen's Bench involves a CBC story about Tony Merchant's offshore bank account worth $1.7 million.

The Merchants allege the broadcaster "cut and spliced interviews'' to portray them in the worst possible light, and they say the story suggested they'd been involved in unlawful conduct amounting to tax evasion.

The statement of claim, which contains allegations not proven in court, also alleges the story gave the impression that Sen. Merchant had breached Senate rules.

The claim also names two CBC reporters and a journalist with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists in Washington, D.C.

CBC accused of race baiting

I can think of few criminal cases that exposed Canada’s racial divide more than the Colten Boushie case has.

That divide widened when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould chimed in expressing disappointment that “we” have to do better.

On Tuesday, the Civilian Review & Complaints Commission for the RCMP announced they have initiated an investigation of the RCMP’s original investigation to determine if it was conducted reasonably and whether race played a role.

That afternoon CBC published an online report with the headline, “RCMP ‘sloppy’ and ‘negligent’ in investigating Colten Boushie’s death, say independent experts.”

The report quotes several “independent” experts who concluded the RCMP investigation was seriously flawed and the organization “needs a lot more training.”

“The experts CBC consulted agreed that errors were made, but did not conclude it would have changed the outcome of the trial.”

The jury believed the defence.

Case closed.  So what was the point of the CBC article?

Retired Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Sergeant Tom Anderson thinks he knows.

Just another example of race baiting by Canada’s Federally funded news agency says the retired Homicide Sergeant.

CBC accused of being sloppy and negligent

In August 2016, a 22-year-old Aboriginal man from The Red Pheasant First Nation in Saskatchewan was shot dead by a farmer named Gerald Stanley, but that’s not where the story begins, nor where it ends.

CBC published a story accusing the RCMP of allowing Stanley to go home on the night of his arrest for murder without making a statement, and not seizing Stanley’s clothes to test for blood spatter and gunshot residue.

But neither of those things are true and there are court documents to prove it.

It was John Gormley who caught CBC faking the news about Stanley’s arrest. CBC only amended their story after they were caught. Talk about sloppy and negligent.

Cuba responds to CBC’s fake news article

Cuba’s Ambassador responds to unsubstantiated claims in CBC News article, “Canada at odds with Cuban ‘ally’ over Maduro’s fate.”

______________

Ottawa, March 3, 2019

To the Editor of CBC News

I reject categorically and in the strongest terms the tendentious and manipulative article “Canada at odds with Cuba ‘ally’ over Maduro’s fate”, written by journalist Evan Dyer and published today, Sunday, March 3, 2019, by CBC News.

Good journalism does not speculate, it informs objectively.

Loblaws paid CBC to air promotional content

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, I reported on Loblaws discreetly paying CBC to air promotional content.

It was a game show for amateur chefs. It was promoted across their platforms, including on Steven and Chris.

But it was bought and paid for by Loblaws, the crooked Liberal company that got $12 million for free fridges. We don't know how much Loblaws paid the CBC to run the show. But take a look at the release -- specifically, where show contestants agree that their recipe, name and likeness is licensed to Loblaws.

Go on a CBC game show, and you've just sold your rights to Loblaws. For free.

So how much money did Loblaws give to the CBC for this promotion? And how much of that money was part of a secret deal to prevent our state broadcaster from calling out this massive company for their bread price fixing scandal and for their free $12 million grant?

Fake news at CBC News

Two examples of fake news at CBC News

The CBC is a great source of fake news. The CBC controls the news across Canada. “CBC/Radio-Canada’s reach is 87%… of Canadians (who) watch or listen to something from their public broadcaster every month.”

But the CBC is our champion you say, an honest source of news in a commercialized world. Let me give you an example of how the CBC reports Fake News.

How could the President of the CBC cheat on his expense claims and CBC printed just two stories exonerating him.

Here’s what happened. The CBC President claimed the same $30,000 in expenses twice. He tried to hide the facts but the story got out. CBC barely covered the story twice, using their own reporters who would be easy on their boss.

At the same time, when it served their purpose, the CBC went all out to report the phony $90,000 expense scandal of Senator Mike Duffy. I say phony because the judge at trial said it wasn’t true. Despite the lack of evidence, the CBC broadcast story after story painting Mike Duffy as a greedy, evil person who cheated Canadians.

Mike Duffy-as-crook fake news stories became a daily fixation for the CBC.

The ultimate CBC insider

The ultimate CBC insider exposes the controversies, successes and dead ends of his time at the top.

In 2004, CBC television had sunk to its lowest audience share in its history. That same year, Richard Stursberg, an avowed popularizer with a reputation for radical action, was hired to run English services. With incisive wit, Stursberg tells the story of the struggle that resulted -- a struggle that lasted for six turbulent and controversial years.

Shortly after Stursberg arrived, the corporation locked out its employees for two months. Four years later, he signed the most harmonious labour contract to date. He lost the television rights for the 2010 and 2012 Olympic Games. He won the biggest NHL contract in history. He had unprecedented ratings successes. He had terrible flops. He enjoyed the best radio, television and online ratings in CBC's history. He fought endless wars with the CBC president and board about the direction of the corporation and ultimately was dismissed.

This is the story of our most loved and reviled cultural institution during its most convulsive and far-reaching period of change. It is for those who think the CBC has lost its way, those who love where it is, and those who think it should not exist in the first place.

CBC and Fake News

I tend to contact the CBC on a regular basis as their reporting is so scewed to the left that it leaves me breathless.

I contacted the CBC regarding their reporting on Steve Bannon a member of President's Trump's team.

First is my response to the Ombudsman report. Then her report.

Does CBC serve Canada or Islamists?

Canada's state broadcaster, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC) consistently supports the Islamist cause, including direct cooperation with terrorist front groups. This support extends to editing domestic Canadian stories to ensure that even ISIS is not criticized in the domestic context. Given that the CBC is owned by the Government of Canada and funded by taxpayers with a billion dollar a year subsidy, the question arises as to whom they serve.

In short, the very groups the CBC relies on for commentary are Islamist in nature. These groups often advocate gross violations of human rights. The CBC is either aware of this and ignores it, or the people there are incompetent and do not check what their sources advocate.

CBC Using Children to Push Climate Propaganda

Everything CBC does lately is terrible, but this is just disgusting. CBC Kids News (why are we funding this?) tweeted a video of a nine year old girl implying that it doesn’t matter if people lose their jobs because of government climate policies because those people would be dead anyway if it wasn’t for those policies.

How CBC could promote this and target it at kids is appalling. Also, sitting there and letting a child believe that Canada’s industries could change the climate to the point that we’re all dead is immoral and disturbing. CBC is such a joke.

CBC's disgraceful propaganda

The state broadcaster is at it again with it’s disgraceful propaganda. CBC’s “The National” — pathetically in third place in the TV ratings for a Canadian nightly news broadcast, despite being given a $1.2 billion advantage over its competitors courtesy of taxpayers — disgustingly neglected to report on the conviction of former Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty’s chief of staff on Friday.

CBC really couldn’t care less about taxpayer money being wasted and the crippling debt that’s being incurred and the billions wasted in servicing the debt. They only feign outrage over wasted taxpayer money when Conservatives are in power and are the culprits because they know conservative voters don’t like to tolerate waste.

How else can you explain the CBC’s “The National” ignoring the verdict in the gas plant scandal, which, again, cost taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars?

CBC weather claims are misleading

Canada’s CBC here recently cited “a leaked report” which claimed Canada is “warming at twice the global rate.”

According to the “leaked report”, Canada’s annual average temperature over land has warmed 1.7 C when looking at the data since 1948. But that claim is misleading when recent data is considered.

Over the past 25 years, since scientists began to warn that the planet was warming in earnest, there has not been any warming when one looks at the untampered data provided by the Japan meteorology Agency (JMA) that were measured by 9 different stations across Canada.

So it is misleading — to say the least — to give the impression that Canada warming has been accelerating.

Even for the CBC this is a new low

I grew up on the CBC. For some years when I was young we lived in a remote area and the CBC was the only radio or television station that we had access to.

About ten years ago, I started to notice that the CBC was becoming increasingly very far-left.

The new leftism that the CBC was more frequently promoting was lacking in these ideals. This is the where things began to come to an end for the CBC and me.

I ask you, my interested reader, to please indulge me by reading two short news stories. These stories are on the same topic. One was published recently by the CBC and one was published by me. Please notice the massive disparity between the two. I was familiar with the facts of the story and had communications with those involved before the CBC published their version. When I read it, I thought that it was a new low, even for the CBC. I suggest that it is immoral for Trudeau to dump hundreds of millions of dollars into an organization that sets out to deliberately deceive and misinform our population.

A person who relies on the CBC for information is going to end up dangerously misinformed.

CBC Aims Political Propaganda at Children

Call it fake news meets Sesame Street. It wasn’t enough that the young were being indoctrinated in schools and via entertainment — now the Canadian government is targeting children with political propaganda through a news platform called CBC Kids News. Of course, though, while the reporters are child actors reading lines, the material is written by adults behind the scenes.

CBC Reaches Pathetic New Low

CBC’s recent interview with Maxime Bernier has brought Trudeau’s state propaganda network to a new low.

Wendy Mesley was clearly on a mission to demonize Bernier, throwing wild conspiracy theories at him rather than actually conducting a legitimate interview.

In just the first 10 seconds, the disgusting bias was obvious.

Mesley asked if Bernier’s party is “for all Canadians, or just the rich,” the kind of question that she and CBC would never ask Justin Trudeau.

CBC apologizes for fake news

CBC apologizes for broadcasting fake news on the Covington boys, upon request.

In the January 20th edition of one of CBC’s flagship news programs, The Weekly, hosted by longtime CBC reporter Wendy Mesley, the national broadcaster falsely reported that the #MAGAKids were harassing and bullying a peaceful indigenous elder by crowding him and chanting, “Build that wall!”

It turns out that it was actually Native Elder, Nathan Phillips, who initiated the encounter, approaching the #MAGAKid, Nick Sandmann, and beating his drum right next to Sandmann.

CBC’s shoddy attack attempt

In an age where challenging the narrative and questioning the unquestionable are a rising trend, CBC’s shoddy attempt to attack our diverse organization only seems to have hurt their own credibility.

Don’t get me wrong. I still believe CBC should operate as a legitimate news website.

Keyword: legitimate.

What’s worse than CBC’s article is the response by Liberal MP Adam Vaughn who appears to think anyone to the right of him or, and in my case, the left of him is an “extremist.”

The article suggests that we operate in a “grey area” because some of our team members previously campaigned for conservative parties. What the article fails to mention is that some of our team members have also campaigned for the Liberals and the NDP in the past.

CBC slammed for bias

Conservative Immigration Critic Michelle Rempel slammed CBC Power & Politics for bias.

Here’s what Rempel said on Twitter:

“Why I hate doing @PnPCBC – just pretaped a panel where the host gave the liberals double the amount of time on the show, and the opportunity for the last word without any debate or rebuttal.”

Many people left comments supporting Rempel’s tweet, especially after CBC Power & Politics tried to spin what happened.

CBC is hypocritical when it comes to bias

How can they not see how hypocritical it is for a state-run broadcaster to criticize others for supposed ‘bias?’

The Post Millennial – which yours truly is proud to write articles for – has quickly become one of Canada’s fastest growing news and opinion outlets.

It features what you see in most online outlets today, a mix of news and opinion content.

And notably, it’s not taxpayer funded, refusing to force Canadian taxpayers to subsidize it.

None of that is remotely shocking or surprising.

Yet, to the CBC, it’s apparently big news!

And in an hilariously biased article, CBC attacked The Post Millennial.
